securing The Cargo Securing program is designed to calculate the number of lashings required to secure cargo units. This method of calculation applies to non-standardized cargoes.

The Cargo Securing program is universal and flexible. The ship’s particulars, cargo details, securing material data, as well as cargo location on board the ship, are taken into account. This method calculates the total number of lashings while also considering external forces acting on the cargo unit.

The Cargo Securing program is restricted to use for ships whose length is between 40 and 220 meters, and service speed ranges between 6 and 23.9 knots.

A Cargo Securing report can be printed.

Instructions on how to use the program can be accessed through the Help function at any time while in the Cargo Securing program.
